Three Words For 2013 I have long ago given up New Year’s Resolutions. For me, 2012 was a really good year.

The other day I read Chris Brogran’s post My 3 Words for 2012. He recommends a plan for achieving your 2013 goals that involves chosing three words to help define your goals and experiences for the coming year. Sort of setting a theme for the year.

I love this challenge, and I want to share my 3 words for 2013 with you: Systems.Cultivate.Share

Systems – After a bit of trial and error, I have learned what works and what does not work. This year will be about focusing on processes and systems. Then, sticking to the process that works because there are many things that can become a distraction. I’ve learned that developing a routine helps me be more creative.

Cultivate – I will cultivate areas of my life that are most important. I must tend my garden, spending time watering crops I’m cultivating. I must determine which parts of my career matter most to me and what parts need to be weeded out. I have personal fitness goals, financial goals, and professional goals focusing on important areas in my life.

Share – I’ve learned that I’m only one man. My goal is sharing more to help individuals solve the issues in their lives and businesses. It’s one of my themes for CenTex New Media. My goal is providing resources and tools like CenTex New Media to solve problems in businesses and lives including everything from email marketing, building brands, online communities, and more.

What about you? What are your three 3 words for 2013? What will inspire you to reach your goals?
